I’m Madison! The heart of Light Garden Photography.
Portraiture is my passion. The ability to convey adoring sincerity through photos brings me immeasurable joy. For me, there's no feeling quite like the rush of having a camera in hand, ready to capture those warmhearted moments that make life so exceptionally terrific.
It’s my deep-seated calling to help others in documenting and cherishing those fleeting, evanescent memories, and safeguarding them to enjoy for generations to come.

It’s my belief that a portrait is a gateway to the warmth in our soul. A visual representation of the love we carry within. A meaningful photograph allows us to hold tight to a memory long after it’s gone.
I have this photo of my grandparents hanging on my mirror. Just a simple photo from a simple moment when they were returning from the grocery store. My grandpa is lovingly embracing my grandma, and my grandma is snickering at the camera. I’d glance at that photo every morning and think, they’re so cute I can’t wait to see them at Christmas... until one devastating day when I realized there would be no more Christmases.
It wasn’t until after my grandparents passed that I truly understood the power of a photograph. The window it became to relive warm, beloved memories with them. This experience changed my entire perspective of what it means to be a photographer, and the deeper meaning of the images we photographers provide.
So now, when I pick up my camera and document blissful newlyweds celebrating with their loved ones, or families merrily playing with their children on a sunny day - this is the perspective I carry. A deep and meaningful understanding of the power one holds as a photographer and gatekeeper to preserve what people hold dearest.
